UPTOWN CHARLOTTE – Uptown Charlotte is turning blue on this weekend, marking North Carolina’s first annual “Men's Health Night”. The Duke Energy building, the newest skyscraper on Charlotte’s skyline, will lead the way by turning its distinctive energy efficient lighting system blue for the night. Thanks to the coordination of Charlotte Center City Partners, many other uptown buildings, including the Carillon on Trade Street, are also joining the occasion to raise awareness on men's health issues.
Men's health issues present a silent health crisis in America. November 21 is also a night to think about the men our community has lost to disease, war and violence.
Please join the Prostate Cancer Coalition of North Carolina in honoring friends, fathers, husbands, sons and the other men in your life, by simply placing a blue light by your window on the night of November 21 and visit www.pccnc.org to download a free Men’s Health Tracker and a Men’s Health Check-up Checklist.
